What really is the very thing that makes the world turn? Is it having too much money and power? Or is it just having that little unimaginable seemingly-immaterial-like love within our hearts?
It may be so absurd to think what and how people in love could just forgo everything so materially important in their lives, all in the name of this seemingly-immaterial-like LOVE. It’s true. I saw it happens first hand. I experienced it the very way that any one could ever imagine to experience it. I don’t have the audacity then to tell the world how it was, and I still don’t, even up to now. What I’ve given up for love is beyond compare with others. Others could probably say that they gave up their world just to be with someone.
In the movie “City of Angels”, one of the angels chose to give up eternity for that one smell of hair, one touch of a hand, one minute of forever to be with the very person destined to be with him and one everything. An eternity without that ONE EVERYTHING is meaningless.
I couldn’t agree more. I’m in love but I’m no angel. I just happen to know how it is to feel like everything is so useless and immaterial when the very person you wanna share everything else is not on your side for whatever reason that might be.
I’m no angel. I’m a human being. Incapable of giving up eternity for the person I love the most, because at the first place, I got nothing of forever to give. But that doesn’t make me less of loving truly. I’ve given up myself and of my desire just to do the ONE minute of smelling her hair, one minute or second of holding her hand, one minute of forever to feel her near me, watching me, caring for me, looking at me and loving me just as much as I do.
What really is the very thing that makes the world turn? Power and Money?
Maybe for some people… but in my case, in my world. It’s my happiness. The very person right here in my arms….
She’s the very person that makes my world turn. I don’t have a power like political or influential people do. I don’t have money like other rich people do. But I got her.
Money and power are of this world. My love for the very thing that makes my life turn, is not just of this Earth. It’s timeless.
